Business & the beauty of a clean home

Every time I work a lot in my business, other things tend to fall by the wayside. 

For example, here is a picture of the current state of my kitchen:

While I am kind of ok with this mess for a couple of days, it doesn't take long before I begin to feel suffocated. And very annoyed when I can't find a clean class or cup or spoon!

Yes, it does take a couple of hours to reinstate order, but the feeling of space and clarity I get afterwards are so so good! Plus, I use the cleaning time to listen to audio courses or podcasts. Which, incidentally, is why I created Queen Rising predominantly as an audio course :).

If you want to work on your own messy home, you can do so while listening, learning, and being uplifted :).

So, once I have written this email, I am going to tackle my home! And I am kind of looking forward to it. Not because I like cleaning so much, but because I'll remember through the process just how much I appreciate clarity, and beauty, and space, and how much this nourishes me.  

Cleaning up is a small price to pay for the lift I get once it's done!

And after our place is ordered and clean, smells of lavender essential oil, and has fresh flowers in every room, I am going to take a bath with epson salt and baking powder.

Doing so clears the aura and helps to draw toxins out of the body. Plus, it just feels good! If you want to try it too, pour half a cup of Epsom salt, half a cup of unrefined sea salt or Himalayan crystal salt, and half a cup of baking powder, into your tub before letting the water run in. You can also add some olive oil, some drops of essential oil, some twigs of rosemary, or some rose petals. 

Since this bath can feel quite exhausting for your physical body (a lot is happening on the energetic level that your body then has to adjust to), don't make the water too hot, and get out slowly.
