Crazy hair day

Did anybody ever tell you that kids grow up so fast?

I used to hear that a lot when Eva was smaller, and time seemed in fact to be standing still, while I was making endless sandcakes, finger paintings and tea parties.

'No mummy, you can't say that, you have to say: thank you for the tea dear princess....'

And all of a sudden my little girl is nearly 10.

She has crazy hair day at school and got up earlier this morning to do her hair.

Then she asked me to take some pics.

And somehow looking at them I can see the woman she will turn into, and I realize that they really grow up so fast.

The days are long but the years are short....

A reminder to enjoy every moment I will still be able to share with her.
